Program requirements, not an eligibility decision

PSE advanced duct sealing

An incentive toward qualifying advanced duct sealing, subject to PSE account, property, contractor and measured-leakage rules.

Program summaries under review. These summaries link to official sources and are awaiting final publication review. This is not confirmation of your eligibility or DuctRx’s contractor participation.

Who this program is for

PSE must supply the primary ducted heating energy. The program requires an Aeroseal-certified PSE Trade Ally.

  • PSE residential account supplying electricity or natural gas for the primary ducted heating.
  • The source specifies a single-family home with four units or fewer. Confirm property classification with PSE.

Qualifying work and measurements

Discuss duct sealing and the necessary testing with an eligible contractor. Cleaning alone is not the qualifying measure described here.

  • Pre-leakage must meet PSE’s threshold: at least 200 CFM at 50 Pa, or 125 CFM at 25 Pa.
  • For dual-fuel systems, PSE treats the heat pump as the primary heating source.

Contractor and application requirements

  • An Aeroseal-certified PSE Trade Ally must perform the work; an out-of-network contractor does not qualify.
  • The incentive is applied through the qualifying contractor, not paid directly by PSE to the homeowner.

DuctRx’s participation has not been verified. A DuctRx appointment draft is not a utility application, technical review or incentive reservation.
